| Welcome to the Rochester, New York
SGML/XML Users Group. This group was formed in the
interest of expanding the local knowledge base in the
areas of SGML and XML. This includes any tools,
programming languages, etc. that have to do with
Structured Markup technologies. You won't find any
meaningless hype about pseudo technologies such as
Information mapping here. This site is also meant to be
simple and uncluttered. The net effect should be that
updating should be fairly simple, since it is expected
that a variety of people, will, and should, be involved.
It is also hoped that vendors and participants will be
encouraged to add banners or logos in trade for
sponsorship or participation. |

MISSION
STATEMENT |
| The Rochester NY SGML/XML User's
Group is a nonprofit organization, which promotes the
effective use of SGML, XML and related technologies
(e.g., CSS, DSSSL, XSL, XLINK, etc.) through education,
and the open exchange of information. RNYSXUG also
provides members with a forum in which to work with other
developers, users, and vendors of SGML/XML solutions. |
